My partner Michael and I, had good times at the Parakao Old Store. Actually we had our second date there. It was a great place to go on the Harley. Maybe do the loop around Kaikohe, Twin Bridges and stop there for a bevy and a burger on the way home. This old car is somewhat of a mascot. I loved the way the right hand side of the painting began looking like Gavins beard. He and Tracy own the store. I tried to keep a little of that as the painting progressed. Now it looks like smoke from the workshop. These monochrome studies are so much fun to do.
